Here are short Summary's of the books..

The girl is obsessed with these wolvs but one day, a student at her school is attacked and killed after he provoked he wolves. His sister asks the main character to tell her what is going on with the wolves. We find out that they are really all werewolves that were bitten and turned into wolves. And when it is warm, they trn into humans and when it is cold, they are wolves. But every year they stay human for shorter and shorter amounts of time until they just stay wolves. After Grace realizes that they turn, she is determined to keep same human all winter. Jack is wreaking havoc and scaring the crap out of Isabelle, his sister, and Olivia, the main character's best friend. We also find out that Sam's parents tried to kill him when he was seven after his first change. Jack kidnaps Sam until the main character tells him how to get rid of his disease. She remembers that she was bitten but had the flu right afterward so they conclude that it was burned from the inside out. They give Jack and injection of malaria to give him a high fever but he dies. Olivia had been bitten and decides that she would rather be a wolf than die of malaria. The weather has tuned cold and this was Sam's last year. He turns back into a wolf and disappears into the forest. the book ends with him magically coming out of the woods human just for Grace.
Linger:
In Maggie Stiefvater’s Shiver, Grace and Sam found each other. Now, in Linger, they must fight to be together. For Grace, this means defying her parents and keeping a very dangerous secret about her own well-being. For Sam, this means grappling with his werewolf past . . . and figuring out a way to survive into the future. Add into the mix a new wolf named Cole, whose own past has the potential to destroy the whole pack. And Isabelle, who already lost her brother to the wolves . . . and is nonetheless drawn to Cole.
At turns harrowing and euphoric, Linger is a spellbinding love story that explores both sides of love — the light and the dark, the warm and the cold — in a way you will never forget.

• Grace •
This is the story of a boy who used to be a wolf and a girl who was becoming one.
Just a few months ago, it was Sam who was the mythical creature. His was the disease we couldn’t cure. His was the good-bye that meant the most. He had the body that was a mystery, too strange and wonderful and terrifying to comprehend.
But now it is spring. With the heat, the remaining wolves will soon be falling out of their wolf pelts and back into their human bodies. Sam stays Sam, and Cole stays Cole, and it’s only me who’s not firmly in my own skin.
Forever:
(just release in Spring of 2011!)
Sam no longer turns into a wolf, but now Grace does. While Sam waits for warmer weather and Grace's return a girls body is found in the woods. This sets in motion Isabel's father's attempts to get the ban on hunting wolves lifted.
Since the girl was found near the Boundary Woods and close to Sam's house he is instantly a suspect. Especially since Grace too has seemed to have disappeared.
With the looming threat of the wolves being hunted and Grace being out there with them Sam and Cole must find a place to move the wolves.
In order to save the lives of the wolves and Grace, Sam must do something he hoped he would never have to do again.
Although Forever is not always filled with action the ability of Maggie Stiefvater to keep a person engaged in the characters provides a fascinating page-turner. She has a way of explaining the thoughts and actions of the characters that makes you feel their emotional trauma right along with them. The love between Sam and Grace tugs at your heart. When you read about Sam's struggle to get his thoughts out into words you feel empathy for him. The relationship between Cole and Isabel was filled with tension. And the drama of the wolves' peril kept me holding my breath wondering which ones would survive. Great job Maggie Stiefvater! I will miss Sam and Grace, but I do have one complaint: I wish there were a different ending!
